Visitor Information Centre
Ballarat's Primary Visitor Information Centre is located at the Eureka Centre, on the corner of Eureka & Rodier Streets.
Here, the centre's friendly staff and volunteers will share their knowledge and passion for Ballarat, and can assist with information on Ballarat's many tourist attractions and accommodation options. You will also be able to source information for surrounding regions and the centre stocks visitor guides for every region across Victoria.
Additional facilities include:

- Local and Australian made merchandise
- Children's playground
- Toilet facilities
- Ample parking, especially for large vehicles
For visitors already in Ballarat CBD, additional information is available at the Art Gallery of Ballarat Information Centre at 40 Lydiard Street North. This centre also carries comprehensive information on Ballarat & surrounding regions, and additional facilities include internet access and a gift shop.
Both centres are open daily from 9am to 5pm (Closed Christmas Day).
